“I have joined Avenues in 2017 as part of a brand new Recruitment Team as a Recruitment Coordinator. Bringing a lot of managerial experience from previous roles, I have been promoted to Recruitment Business Partner in 2018. Coming previously from the Hospitality sector, with over 17 years’ experience, Social Care was new to me so I had to learn a lot of new things but Avenues has helped me to go on this journey, and so it has become a very rewarding and exciting job to date.

The best part of my job is working with my team of fantastic recruitment professionals, all other stakeholders, working together towards the same goal – providing a good life for the people we support – and meeting new people who are as passionate as we are and who would like to join Avenues. In my free time I do enjoy walking, listening to music, baking and living in the countryside with my husband.”

“I joined Avenues in July 2017 and have since had different roles before becoming a Recruitment & Onboarding Lead in 2023. Working for Avenues is very rewarding, being able to be a part of an organisation where we really can make a difference to people’s lives is the best part of the job.
