We're looking for a Senior Support Worker to work with us in Shrewsbury supporting a female adult with autism and learning disabilities who likes to spend time in her own home but also engages actively in her community and spends time with her family.

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll inspire and lead by example, not just supporting people in their daily lives, but helping them dream bigger, achieve goals, and feel truly connected to their communities.

You’ll be at the heart of everything: guiding your team, championing our values, and shaping a service where people are respected, included, and supported to thrive.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading by example in delivering person-centred, empowering support
• Supporting people to build relationships, learn new skills, and connect with their community
• Taking charge of shift leadership, mentoring your team, and ensuring high standards of care
• Playing a key role in safeguarding, health and safety, and personal wellbeing
• Co-ordinating care planning, goal setting, medication, and keyworker responsibilities
• Building trusted partnerships with families, professionals, and colleagues.

We’re Looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in care and passionate about making a difference
• A strong communicator and natural motivator
• Person-centred, proactive, and emotionally resilient
• Skilled in leading shifts and supporting colleagues to grow
• Familiar with safeguarding, health & social care best practice
• Qualified (or willing to work towards) NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Confident supporting people with personal care, daily tasks, and community engagement
• A driver with access to a vehicle holding business insurance is essential.
